Diplomacy Commands
==================
Note: your relations to another country controls certain things that you do--
for instance, you must be at war to attack another country, and you can give
allies and friends different levels of retaliatory nuclear support.
[A]bdicate: if things are going really badly, you can quit and give someone
else a chance to play. However, you won't be able to play again until the
game is reset out of fairness to others.
[C]hange country's name: that's your country. The new name must be at least
three letters long.
[D]iplomatic relations: allows you to change your current diplomatic posture
to another nation to either allied (which requires that the other nation be
friendly towards you), friendly, neutral, hostile, or at war. The latter two
will make the other country neutral towards you if formerly friendly or
allied. A declaration of war will also go into the newspapers, and will
keep you from making any conventional attacks that month.
[M]ake announcement: you can say anthing you want in the world's newspaper
with this one. Declarations of "death-to-YooKay-day" or whatever.
declare [N]eutrality: pretty obvious.
[L]ist nations: a quick way to see who controls what.
[Q]uit to menu
[S]end message: by the latest laser-rhodopaladium methods, of course.
[V]iew global relations: the country on the left indicates the relater; the
number at the top indicates the relatee. So reading across from your
country's name at the left gives your relation to everyone else, while
reading down from your number at the top reveals other countries' postures
toward you.
